About us
Background information
Grace Covenant Church (GCC) was planted on 1st of October 2006 by Pastor Maurice J. Mwale, in response to the call of God into church ministry, in Umoja Innercore Estate, along Moi Drive, opposite the Umoja II Chief’s office, Nairobi, Kenya. Our current membership stands at approximately 100 adults, 50 youth and 100 children. We are progressively purchasing the parcel of land where we initially leased and erected our current temporary structure.
The church has since continued to evangelize the neighbouring community through door-to-door and person-to-person witnessing and open air crusades. We have further been graciously enabled to reach most parts of our country through the “Grace for Transformation” Bible Conferences which mostly targets Pastors and Church workers. Subsequently, the church continues to spread within Kenya and by divine enablement we currently have twenty sister churches; some of which are very young church plants in need of consistent shepherding.
Our Inspiration
I am a debtor, I am ready, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” {Romans 1:14-17}
vision statement
To establish a God honouring Bible Based Church.
mission statement
Our mandate is limited to the presentation of the gospel of salvation to the lost and hurting world and to the teaching of sound Bible doctrine to believers in obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our core values
Ministering God’s unmerited favour to all mankind; to establish ourselves as a body of Bible based disciples of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, firm in doctrine and full of passion for reaching out to the lost world.
relationships

The Trinity of God
We believe that there is one God existing in three persons: (1) God the Father, (2) God the Son, who became the unique person of the universe, the God-Man Jesus Christ, and (3) God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is equal in characteristics and authority and each possesses the same attributes and perfection {Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14}.
